Our thick wall Gourds have been sold since 1971. We use only the finest quality of raw materials to assure longevity of the Gourd and safe nesting for the Purple Martin. The color pigments as well as the plastic contain ultraviolet inhibitors that help protect the Gourd itself as well as the young birds from the harmful U. V. rays. Our Gourds are 99% non-translucent.
